I've been waiting to look at this cub for two months. From the s\n it's a 56. The tin is rust pitted, the distributor, gov. and gen. are off and on the work bench. The back tires are not that good, need rewired & don't know much about the motor except it's not stuck. Selling price is 475.00. The guy says he paid 500.00 ( I believe this ). I just don't know if it is worth my time and money to save her. Sure is a cute little tractor though. I'm used to mid and larger size machines. Will the cub power a 5" belly mower? I have heard not. Might make a nice little tractor for my wife and daughter. Merry Christmas to all, and Happy New Year!
