My kids bought me an engine heater for my birthday in September and it is the handiest gadget because you can use it on any of your tractors. TSC has these magnetic block heaters that you just stick onto the block anywhere you wish and plug them in. I prefer the bottom of the pan as heat rises and the oil will not be a factor on cold start mornings..you can put it on the side of the block or front ..where ever...no it probably isn't as good as one mounted permanently in a coolant line but by golly it does the trick and they are easy, quick and you just set it on the bench when you're running , or take it to the next tractor to warm up.....Mike in Exeter Ontario
