Does that have the Carter UT carb? They are notorious for leaking even in warm weather... After having mine off and on 46 times, I found out the float was bent in just enough for it to be dragging on the carb casting ... (U shaped float)... Once I adjusted that, I no longer have any problems... but as suggested, you may have some water in the system, and the bowl froze up.
