You are right on every count CNKS, number of times asked. My 656D with 84.5 axle and 16.9x38 tires even with end of axle, wheel dished out, there was still 2.5" of axle between axle carrier and wheel. There is absolutely only one thing Mr. Andreasen can do now and that is phone the guy to see if tractor has indeed 84.5" axles and that the wheels are not out beyond the axles. The tractor may well have the long axles, and there is only one guy that can answer that.
