Dealers usually put neverseez on the balls, ramps and the flat spots in the outer "drum" where the metal plates rub and slide. Sand the balls and sockets first and use a wire brush on the splines of the rockshaft and grease that also. There is nothing permanant with those Ausco brakes but this seems to be the best compromise for most situations. Some never had grease and work fine but that is the exception. Most will need work every year or 2. Ausco brakes were used on IH, Deere and Massey and all had trouble with the company finally going bankrupt.
