Rebuilt my '50 H last winter and she ran great all summer. About a month ago started running a little rough. Thought maybe points had closed or timing was off..adjusted everything and double checked carb adjustments. After she warmed up it ran a little smoother but I could tell something was different. Well, couple days ago changed oil for winter and decided to replace plugs. Put Autolite 386 plugs in during rebuild and thats what I was replacing with also. #4 plug was wet and did not appear to have been firing. The other 3 appeared normal. With fresh plugs the H runs fantastic again so it appears I may have been running on 3 cylinders for awhile. Anybody else had problems with Autolite plugs? Not sure if the plug was bad or if the spark plug clip may have come loose inside the boot. Anyway, she fires away fine now on all 4 cylinders but I was curious what others have experienced with their brand of spark plugs.
