Hey M6 I was sure that would give it away. My name is Chad Bingaman, my dad is Ron. We have the H with the white side shields on it that we set up for pulling back in 91, and we also pull from time to time our H that we use in our loader. We feel the way our tractor is with tires that its not real competitive, but we cant bring ourselves to grind and almost new set of firestones. They come in too handy around our farm from time to time if we get a flat on another tractor and we're in a bind for that tractor for something. I guess that brings me to your question about farming, we farm about 175 acres as a hobby. My grandparents own the farm at this time allthough it has been in my moms family for almost 200 years. We just do it to keep ourselves occupied. My dad and I do most of the work ourselves with my mom helping with some tillage work if we need her. We only raise grain, (corn, soybeans, and wheat). I would hate too see the day that something happened to keep us from farming, that and antique tractors help me keep my sanity. I was just curious if you were a member or not cause we have a meeting on saturday and thought maybe I would see you there. We plan on bringing quite a few pieces to the show as well if all goes well. We have been working on a 15-30 McCormick Deering for almost 4 years now and are hoping to have that done till the show. That tractor belonged to my great grandparents when they farmed our acreage. Also the H that we pull and an M that we own belonged to a great uncle of mine, he bought the tractors both new, and we're the second owner of each. The H is a 51 and our M is a 47, these pieces of old iron mean quite a bit to me sentimentally. I never knew my great grandparents but I have many memories of my uncle and as long as I'm alive those tractors will be in my shed. Oh hear I am rambling on about nothing and probably boring you to death. If you want to talk some more I'd love to share war stories.
