Dealers have to predict the worst case scenario, or should. Are they estimating a main clutch and Pressure plate, pilot and release bearings, refacing the flywheel, new rear main engine seal, new IPTO shaft, refacing the TA flywheel? What type of replacemant TA is priced out? Without knowing what work was estimated, it's impossible to say whether it is a decent value. Dealerships will usually have the highest rates, but are usually better equipped, and should be more timely and stand by their work better to be competitive with their local market.
