Do you have any books on it, ie IT of Blue ribbon? Bob M has good pictures. I Had to chage the camshaft on my SMTA. Blocked the rear end under the front of the transmission case. The front pedestal has to come off so take the steering shaft loose at the u joint and the bolts on the sides of the frame. You also have to loosten the bolts on the rear of the frame by the back of the engine and the engine bolts to frame slightly. You have to have some way to handle heavy objects a front end loader works well. Oh you also have to drain radiator and loosten top and bottom hoses. Don't forget to remove brace from mid section to top of radiator(can tell you from experience) With a tricycle front end they want to turn over so if you can somehow prevent that it helps. ONce the front pedestal is out of the way you have to take off belts and crankshaft pulley. That takes a 2 1/2 inch socket. After that is just front cover. Change gear and check timing marks on gear and mating gear. When you put it back together don't forget the oil flinger on the crankshaft(again from experience). Not a bad job if you have some posts of something to securely block the back and a loader or overhead hoist to handle the front pedestal.
