I have Farmalls 130 and SA. I place my cranks in holder with handle ahead and down. Handle rests on floor pan and tucked against the torque tube. That seems to work well for me and I am 6'2" with big feet.(size 12)

I have found that having seat too close to steering wheel will foul the leg room. It is a toss up seat too far back and it is running into rear rockshaft. I have a piece of 1.5 inch square tubeing along top of seat supports, thus raising the seat 1.5 inches. The square tube goes back 3 inches beyond factory supports. This allows me to put seat back further and stay clear of rear rockshaft. The 1.5 inch increase in height does a lot for legroom. I was a bit uncertain before doing this, re knees under steering wheel. that hasn't been a problem.
