I am new to the world of cubs, and have 2 questions about the noise I am getting out of the hydraulic unit. When I raise and lower the rockshaft I get quite a bit of whine out of the hydraulic unit. Is this noise acceptable? Secondly, I had no problem all summer long when plowing. But recently I attached the snow-plow and now when I start the tractor I hear short, repeated "whines" from the hyrdaulic unit every 4 or 5 seconds whether at idle or driving around. During these short squeals the engine labors momentarily. It sounds as though the touch control is being activated in short bursts, and it occurs when the plow is raised or lowered. Any help would be greatly appreciated by this beginner. Thanks in advance. Blair in Savoy, MA
