I never used this system myself, it was a friend who used it, said it worked fine one on one. By the time he used the generator he had 6 diesels all the way from 5.9 to a V12 Cummins. I don't have any first hand experience. I will tell you one though, went out one morning, temp was -40. I have only witnessed this twice in my 60 years. discovered my block heater on 6.2 Chevy was not working. I didn't even try to start. I knew I had no oil or fuel leaks. I filled a 12" cast iron fry pan with barbeque charcoal, started it and placed it under oil pan on a piece of 6" H beam. Truck started like summer within 20 minutes.
