I would take Jeff's advice and save, shop around A LOT and pay cash. These tractors can be found very very reasonable if you are not in a big rush. Now if you wanna go spend 15-75 thou on a new one, you can do that too but wouldn't you hate to see that catalog of payment coupons? Ask around, look in the classifieds. If you just wanna get started in the hobby, 1000 or less gets you in, maybe with a fixer upper but you will be much prouder when you are through. Best of luck.
