I have a friend that puts lead from a mechanical pencil in his tractor tank as it dissolves it releases the lead into the fuel system making it run much better. you have to be careful with it though as if the government finds out they would fine you for running illegal leaded gas. I tried it and it made a big diference in my tractors performance. p.s. use the.05mm size lead as it contains the most lead content and you can get this pencil lead at any staples office superstore
