You don't need to I just chose to. I will say 560 and 656 are a much lighter chassis than the larger 06, 56, 66 and 86 series tractors. You are adding a lot of tire, may just be to much for that rear end. My 656D pulled a 5 x 16 semi-mounted plow, 8 inches deep. It pulled mower conditioner, corn planter, sprayer, grain drill. I plowed some hills to. It did it all without liquid or solid weight. Now you convince me why I should have hauled a half to a ton of weight other than for soil compaction. My 1066 pulled a 20 foot disc 20"blades, 24 foot cultivator, forage harvester with wagons and 12 ton manure spreader all without added weight and same reason as 656. I have taken 1066 with harvester and wagon into a corn field. The season was wet. A 100 hp tractor, 4x4 loaded with weight had pulled out, couldn't harvest. He left ruts as deep as 4x4 could make, and full of water. 1066 with duals made it's first rounds in his ruts, harvested whole field (30 acres) pulled and filled wagons. If I am going to move something with a tractor it won't be calcium chloride.
