Better late than never but I think you'll like that ol'444. I've found that the PTO shifter gear has worn out over time and that the brakes need attention, lots of attention. I've redone nearly every system and have found that parts are hard to find in some cases. I am currently looking for a remote hydraulic valve with no success. I have been told that the rear end can go out with abuse but the 40 hp. engines don't have enough emphhh to tear them up. Mine has ran for well for many years.
