Dale, It sounds as though you may have a 300 Utility. The Utilities did not have an intake pipe extending above the hood as the Farmalls did. Rather, they have a "basket" arrangement which sits on top of the air cleaner and seals against the underside of the hood for intake of cool outside air. Neither of my 300's have this part, so if you locate several, I might be interested in acquiring one.
