Trans Fill - IH 444

Drained fluid from under tractor, when I refilled next to gear shifter I used plug near bottom on right side as the level plug - is this correct? Saw a plug on left side of tractor under clutch but figure this is a dry housing as I never saw any seppege from it - probably took a couple of gallons of hyd oil to fill - Does this sound correct...Thanks, Allen R.
