I have never actually removed one of those cabs. I have seen it done and when complete all you need is mounting steps and fenders. If you put lights in fenders your harness will need to be lengthened. The platform under your cab is the same as the open station tractor. There are also handle grips used in mounting tractor that wrap around TA lever on one side and the shift levers on other side. Those could allready be on tractor. I have also seen the mounting steps on side of chassis there with a cab. My 1066 did not have them. Batteries mount differently on open station, been awhile since I looked, not sure on that one just where . I did mount one the Excel cabs used on early 66 series and 56 series, on a 656. The cab I used came from a 1066. Because chassis of 656 is different from the larger tractors I had to fabricate my own mounting brackets at axles and on side of tractor at front of cab
