Great fuel economy NO, a 1066 is not bad if your using every ounce of hp it has. On lighter work they are terrible. Example my 1066 was 5-6 gal per hour on round baler, 560D or 656D would bale just as fast on 2 gal per hour. Only a 60 hp job to begin with. A 1066 will burn 10 gal per hour loaded for every hp it has. For most of them that was 15 hp per gal. per hour. There were more fuel efficient tractors in the 06 and 56 series
