If it has sliped then the clutches are fried and since you are useing it on a chopper the i would install the 7and 9 setup this is the heavy duty clutch pack and you need a special fitting to read the pressure, when i set them up i bring the pressure up to around 265-275 psi. hot . When pulling the pto out of any of the 06thru 88 series you must tip the rear of the pto downward and not hit the pickup tube when pulling it out , it helps to remove the top link bracket as then you can see what you are doing. Instaling just the clutches all ya need is a 3/4 socketand a 10-12 inch ext. a 1/2 inch drive ratchet and a pair of side cuters to pull the cotter pins and a screw driver , BUT there is one bolt way down under on the left hand side on the bottom that some people foget to take out and then try pryen the unit out it is a short 1/2 inch bolt so look before ya pry , i always put a pice of pipe over the 540 shaft and use a cheery picker and chain as it is not lite. If all the bolts are out it darn near falls out.
