Sounds like you have a Worksaver Brand 3 point hitch on your C. I'm surprised you can lift a 4x5 bale at all with it. Don't expect to be able to lift more than 500 or 600 lbs with that hitch. With the linkage set up and using the touch control rockshaft arms, that is about the capacity. Never been into one of those units, so can't say about the repairs.
