If the tractor will crank cold, cuts out when warm, touch the coil and see if it is hot to the touch. You should be able to hold your hand on it, if not it is probably breaking down. If the tractor won't crank cold or cuts out and runs weak and you have a thin blue fire between spark plug and spark plug wire change the condenser you should get a fat yellow fire. Hope this helps. P.S. Felt like a fool after spending days reworking a fuel system-----then putting in a two dollar condenser and having a fine running tractor.
