There's a little more to it, Jim. Both sides were narrower than a B, so you'd need a shorter right housing and shaft, too. That narrows the seat platform. That in turn (I think) changes the spacing for things like the heel rest and where the pedals bolt up to the platform. The seat brackets are different, as well. On the BN, the outside bracket mounts to a flange on the axle housing, the B brackets both mount to the platform. You could probably scavenge the parts for the right side from an A, as I believe, from the parts book, that the dimensions on the right side of the BN are tghe same as for the A. Not sure, but there may be a difference in the offset of the steering wheel support.
