Super MDTA - Need info!

May have an opportunity to buy one in good original condition and am wondering how many were made (have heard 2700 were made) and what a fair price would be. I was thinking around $2500 if everything works OK and its fairly straight. Just heard about it yesterday & will look at it this week. I'm not sure what he is asking yet.
