not one to brag...(ok i am) we recently purchased a good-condition used FNH 411 9.5' discbine because the 230 IH windrowers are just too worn out. the '72(year of purchase) 656 gas pulls it like a champ in second and sometimes 3rd gear DD. this is amazing to me, since the implement is rated for an 80hp tractor and we have such a late start on the hay. almost 6000 hours and it's never been overhauled or modified in any way. I wish i was born 30-35 years ago to see it new!!!! it's a pleasure to run even for a 22 year old that's been spoiled in college. -karl ps i will admit i have had to run in 1TA sometimes...
