I had a pulley that sat outside a little to long also. I don't know any tips on having these redone. But I do know that it doesn't take to much setting outside in the weather to screw one up. I was like Fred and came across one that is caste iron. It is slightly bigger around than the one made out of wood, or pressed paper or what ever those were made out of. The only funtional difference that I can see is that it is slightly bigger around and the belt is a little more hapt to slip on the caste iron one. Being bigger around got me thinking that maybe it was produced to run a certain peice of equipment. Otherwise I was thinking that maybe it was off of a certain span of years on those H farmalls, or possibly an aftermarket. Otherwise it probably came off of another model farmall that had the same bolt pattern. I am not sure what the actual sorce was for these caste iron pully's were but I think it is a better deal becuase they will never deteriorate to were they have to be redone. Just simply may need to be repainted at some point. Here is another idea. Those caste pully's versus the wood fibered one's may of been an option on H Farmalls. If someone knows for sure, I hope they post a message here becuase I would like to know myself.
