Mike: Your glow plugs draw heavy on the amps and do create some heat even on good wire. It is a good idea to monitor that wiring closely, especially where it goes over, around or under the fuel tank. The hood should tilt forward on 250 with the loader up. The Farmalls 460,560,656 had a glow plug meter. If it wasn't reading full when in operation, you had bad glow plugs. I don't think (at least the 250) the British diesels had that. You can check individual glow plugs with an ohm meter. You might try the Ontario Ministry for a hydraulic bucket, tell them they left a job half done. tell them that with new tires, you get larger buckets full and ocasionally you forget to let go of trip lever. Kind of HARD on fingers, watch that one.
