Thanks folks. I will look at getting the cap out of the other side. Then I can clean it up and figure out a game plane from there. I didn't realize there were caps that held the pin in. I'm sure that the "bushing" I described is what is left of one of these caps. Maybe I'll luck up and find that there is no appreciable wear in the casting and just some new caps will fix it.
