Gene, Thanks for checking further on this for me. I've checked with a second shop, same answer. You say a dealer was turning the overbore sleeves even thinner? If the Super C was 3 1/8" bore with 3 7/16" sleeve opening, that would give 5/32" sleeve thickness; the 3 1/4" overbore set would go down to 3/32" sleeve thickness; if they turned that sleeve down farther to fit in the earlier 3 5/16" sleeve opening it would drop to a 1/32" sleeve thickness. Do you think they can really go down that far? I'm not a machinest, so if my numbers are off, please enlighten me! Thanks, Stan(VA).
