Just recently finished painting a "B". Not a lot of difference between it a an "H" just a little bigger. I also painted a 7x8 trailer and a few extra other parts. I had painted the front of the engine when I had the unit apart. I had a gallon of paint and a pint of hardner also used about a quart of thiner. Painted it all once and let it get tacky and then painted it again the second time. I had atleast a quart of thined and mixed paint left over. Don't mix all of your paint at one time. The hardner will start to set it up and you will end up waisting what you haven't used. I would mix 2 quarts and see how far you go and that will give you a good measure. Air pressure varys with different spray guns. I have one that uses only 35lbs and another newer one that used 70lbs. I recomend a paint pot and supply lines and paint gun rather than a paint gun with quart container attached. With the pot and gun it is possible to paint in any and all positions and of course you can go a lot further, also you can mix your paint right in the pot. Mine is 35 years old and still going great. Several light coats is much better than one heavy coat of paint. The successfull paint job is the one that has had the best prep job (no subsitute for this). NOW GO FOR IT---------GOOD LUCK
