RedTed/MO, I just used (2 weeks ago) exactly 1 gallon of PPG OMNI AU plus thinner & hardner to paint my H, but I farmed the sheet metal painting to a local body shop. You should be OK with one gallon as a C is a tad smaller. If your going to paint the thing in pieces make sure you don't get paint where you'll need an electrical ground. I know on H's & M's you can't have any paint between the tranny cover & the steering post, or the steering post & headlight bar or else your headlights won't work. I also had to grind off fresh paint from where my light switch mounts to the electrical box cover because the battery system wouldn't charge. As soon as I got metal to metal contact everything worked great.
