Hi Hugh, The 50 anniversary was for Willie and Norma Morash, they used to live in the brick house across from the new fire staion on Cole Harbour Road. ( Willie was always a mechanic for Dartmouth Fuels, and they now live in a Condo in Colby Village). Willie is a good guy to know as he has a lot of knowledge on these old tractor engines, actually Willie just done a motor job for Lloyd on a 53 Ford Jubilee. Melvin always stays the same, I have not been down to his farm for a few months, knowing Melvin the engine cover for his tractor will never be put back on the tractor. Melvin did have the gas engine 434 tractor running this spring the first time for several years. Talking of Farmall A's . I do have one in the valley that I had not started for about 18 months, had it running a couple of weeks ago, so am thinging about bringing it back to Cole Harbour and doing some restoration work. I have a barn in my back yard and last week-end installed a garage door in one end, so don't have any more excuses for not getting this project complete. Cheers, Murray
