Hello Scott, I think it should correspond. I have an A S/N about 110000, 1944. It's plate matches the no stamped on the block. I making one good tractor out of two and half very weathered tractors. The seat frame that the plate attaches to was badly rusted (more holes than frame in places!) so I re-rivetted the plate to the good (better- less welding!) frame. I wouldn't like to guess which end is the original, maybe someone just swapped seat frames. I suppose you could get a new plate and stamp it with the block no. Anyway, my thoughts. Maybe someone else can explain further? Regards Andrew
