Bob, I had a very similar problem with my 300U that we had a Wagner loader on. The only diference is that the loader would still raise although slow and jerkily but the rear 2 point and power steering worked great. The loader was slugish to lift, sometimes it wouldn't until I shut off the tractor and started it again. It would work great after I raised the loader to the full up position with it jerking all the way up. Then shut the tractor off and engauge the down lever, start it up and it worked great for a while. This problem started after my nephew borrowed the tractor and used it quite hard for dirt moving. I put up with it for about 6 months doing all the fore mentioned things. I finally pulled the resevoir lid off (quite heavy) and found that the filter was not only plugged but was colapsed. I cleaned and straightened it and put everything back together and had no more problems after that. Hope this helps, it's a pain to clean the filter but it should work great after you do it. I was tempted to plumb in an external filter and I would of it it happened again, but I have since sold the tractor. Good Luck! Ernie Bob
