Was in the process of connecting my bucket to the loader when my 1066 stopped going into reverse. I can shift from 1-4 but I cannot get the hi-lo-reverse lever to go to the hi-lo side. When I put it into reverse it feels like it wants to go back but does not move. The engine goes under load but the tractor stays put. I can push the gear lever up and out of reverse, and when I do the tractor is in lo gear and moves fine. But I cannot get the lever to go to the hi-lo lever slot. Hope this makes sense. Any ideas?
