Here is what Mr. Wendel said in his book."In the period ending in 1952, Harvester offered an extensive line of Industrial tractors based on then current agricultural models. During this time, IH Industrial tractors differed little from their agricultural counterparts, thus losing much of their significance as a separate product line. The 1944 creation of a Construction Equipment Division served to further separate the two product lines. Industrial models of this period included I-4, I-6, ID-6, I-9 and ID-9. Basic specifications are the same as for the W series farm tractors." In another part of book he goes on to say these tractors were widely used, and I agree. You don't see many of these anymore, but in 50s and 60s country was peppered with them. The Trojan dozer blade is nothing more than an attachment, manufactured by another company. It is an attachment that would be just too heavy on a two wheel drive tractor to have any useful function. If you get it going and with no counter weights I will challenge you to push as much dirt in a pile with my Farmall 130. On the weight factor alone the Trojan dozer probably quite scarce, on two wheel drive tractors. That same dozer blade probably will fit hundreds of 4 wheel drive and crawler machines. Trojan built attachments for numerous companies, used only different mounting brackets.
