Hey guys, thanks to Roger I was able to get the axle out of the rear on my B and hopefully get the leaking seal fixed for it tomorrow. Do any of you know of a good way to get the bearing off of the axle? Is pressing it off good enough? I dont want to bust an axle or anything like I have in the past. How much 90wt does that rear final drive assembly hold? Also how much oil does the crankcase hold? I'm pretty sure its 5 qt. but want to make sure before. By the way, I'm going to be getting a whole new steering u-joint for the B as the one thats on it now is non-replaceable?? The actual joint has no bearing or anything its just a tapered fit and right now its got a lot of play. The yolk nearest to the front of the tractor has a slot for a key but as of now it has a 3/8 in. roll pin in it. The yolk towards the steering wheel looks as if it has a pin through it but sometime ago it must have wallowed out and someone spot welded it onto the shaft. I called my local Case IH dealer and they want like $100 for the joint but I think I can find it cheaper. Is the H joint the same shaft size because I can get those for $25 and I would just have to drill the holes for the roll pins as the H uses keys to bite the shaft. Sorry if that sounds confusing I'm just typing in a hurry now. Thanks RC
