The last few times I have mowed with my Farmall 100, and it is hot after maybe mowing for an hour, if I turn it off it won't restart immediately. It turns over plenty fast (6 volt)and varying the amount of choke doesn't seem to help. I clamped an extra spark plug to a solid ground and hooked a spark plugwire to it and it seems that I have NO spark. if I let it sit for an hour or so it will start fine, or if I hook my battery charger to it to boost it, it will start fine. I don't think it is a fuel problem because gas drips from the carb just like it does when I choke it to start normally. It sure seems like this NO spark thing might be the problem. Maybe condenser or coil failing when hot????? It never just dies, this only happens if I bog it down or if I turn it off. Thanks for your help. Paul Taylor taylorpaul56@hotmail.com
