Congrats on the new tractor. I use Case/IH #1 oil in all my rigs. I use 15w40 since I don't use the tractors that much, I wouldn't want to change oil twice a year.. straight 30 would be fine too if you live in a warmer climate. If it has has non detergent oil in the engine before, be ready to change it a few times until all the sludge has worked loose. REmove the pan, and get the sludge and old crap out. As far as tranny oil, you can use any 80w90 gear lube, but before you do, you may want to change a few of those old seals. I think originally, the tranny had something like 160 gear lube, and it will come out of there and look like black molassis. You may want to dump 5 gallons of Kerosene in the tranny after draining it, drive down the road a ways, then drain, and put in the fresh lube. You'll be surprised at all the metal filings that will come out of there. You can remove the pto shaft, and get in there with your hand and wipe alot of the old crap out too.
