I was the tire, wheel & rim buyer at FARMALL from about 1979 thru 1981...end of the 1X86 and start of the 3&5X88 series and 2+2's... IH offered SO MANY tire options during that time We could have built 125 tractors a day for almost 2 years and NEVER built any 2 alike just with tire options. Yes, 13.6X38's were standard, but the 14X38 rims & 15.5's from the 560 were a direct bolt-on and a very popular option for the 460's.
