agman you might want to unhook that line fire it up at idle and make sure that line is clean. Don't stick your face in it when you do it! If that does not seem to be the culprit, I strongly suggest you drop the pan. If you have not had it off before it very well may be sludge in the bottom or a plugged intake screen or a combination of both. If it is, take that protective cover off an THROROUGHLY clean that screen. If that is not the culprit, then you will have to take the pump out of the frame and check the gasket where the two pump halves bolt together. My 51H came from southern IN. Dennis H was nice enough to keep it for a few days until I could get it transported north. He noticed the oil pressure was only 20 psi or so at full throttle. So he dropped the pan and found a totally plugged intake screen and a good 2 inches of non-detergent gunk in the bottom of the pan. He got it fairly cleaned and the oil pressure jumped up closer to 40 or so. I swapped pumps at the end of the rebuild and I am now up to around 55 is my guess. Its on the "L" through most of the engine RPM range.
