Pulled the head this AM on the Super C.Took off the oil pan and inspected up inside of motor with a bright light and couldn't see any sign of water. When I took the head off I started seeing drops of antifreeze right off.The head gasket was black between the #2 & #3 cyl. and the holes where the push rods go had water drops all down in there.Took the head and gasket to a machine shop.Man took one look at the gasket and said it was bad between the #2 #3 spots. Magnafluxed the head and it checked out fine. He is cleaning the head up for me. He said the valves all look good. When I unbolted the head the nuts on the outside of the valve cover where very tight the ones on the inside where very easy to turn, I think the one buy the #3 cyl I could have turned off by hand. Thanks all for your help. Paul PS. Anything I should not forget when putting it all back together?
