My 300 came with a battery ignition. During the winter, unless I ran it everyday, I would have a hard time getting it to start. Usually ran the battery dead trying. When I had livestock, I didn't have as much trouble as I used it on the manure spreader but since then it doesn't get as much running time. I switched it to a mag and now it's running almost the split second I hit the starter button.
