I have done several 3-point hitches and other attachments for tractors over the years. Did one for my own Super C several years ago. I am a licensed Professional Structural Engineer in Missouri with a Master's degree in Structural Design from the University of Missouri in Rolla. The books that I refer to for design include: Structural Analysis Third Edition by Jack C. McCormac from Harper & Row, 1975. Engineering Mechanics; Statics by R. C. Hibbeler from Macmillan Publishing Co., Inc., 1974. Engineering Materials and Their Applications by Flinn Trojan from Houghton Mifflin Company / Boston, 1975. Design of Steel Structures by Edwin H. Gaylord, Jr. and Charles N. Gaylord from McGraw-Hill Book Company, 1972. Manual of Steel Construction Load & Resistance Factor Design, Volume I, by the American Institute of Steel Construction, 1994. Good luck!
