Hey Brad, my grandfather used a sprayer for an apple orchard with his H for over 20 years w/o problems, but he had a sprayer with a handgun type applicator and I am presuming that your dad is probably using a mist/blower type sprayer and therefore he needs the extra rpm. He might have already thought of it, but does the sprayer have any pully wheels for belts on it that could be changed to increase rpm within the sprayer unit? Dont know what kind of sprayer unit setup he has, but might be something to think about if you could rig something up like that.
