One heck of a Farmer's wife!!!!

This is not at all Farmall related, but I had to brag to someone. You all seem like nice folk, and sharing good news with nice folk is what makes the world really great. I have been cussing and swearing at my old truck for two months. First no power. Then backfiring. Take it to a mechanic friend of mine and I get "Flat Cam" on the #2 intake. Stupid motor is only 2 years old. My friend swaps in a new cam. The truck runs better but sounds terrible. The lifters and rockers were clattering to beat all heck. I order a bunch of new parts. The wrong ones come in. Eventually, I'm up under the hood putting in new rockers, rocker shafts and adjustable pushrods. Here's where the good news comes in. Tonight, my wife was helping me with the rockers, shafts and pushrods. She saved the day, when a pushrod slipped down past the lifter deep into the block, and she was able to get it out. So, we get #1 TDC, and she grabs the wrenches. She proceeds to set the valves. I turn the crank 90 degrees, and she sets the next two. She has never set valves in her life, but she was willing to try. Her hands are much smaller than mine, and took all the hassle out of adjustable pushrods for me. She only let me adjust two of the valves, and only because I begged. We did not get them set right. They still clatter, but we ran out of time tonight. Rather than be discouraged, my wife wants to try again. I think she's learning the feel of it. WOW! Did I marry a soulmate or what!!!! I just had to share that with friends. Thank you for listening.
