Went to a tractor pull this weekend at Sturgis, South Dakota. This antique tractor pulling is THE MOST FUN I have ever had in my life!! Even though I drove the following tractors: a Case 800 diesel, a D Case, a W-6 IH, a W-400 IH diesel, and an LA Case with a 4-71 GM diesel, it was a blast!

I went to this pull because of a IH 600 diesel I sold to a guy from Sturgis. We have kept in contact and he invited me down there to the pull. What a wonderful friend, and all the people in the club at Sturgis are great too! I even got to pull the Case LA with a 4-71 GM in it! See pictures below and remember that old tractor guys are the best ones around!

This is Tom, the guy that invited me, pulling his 800 Case-O-Matic diesel.

This is me on the 800 Case on my way to a FULL PULL. I even beat the JD 730 diesel - although we weighed a little more than him.

This is a beautifully restored 98 Massey GM diesel that did the pull back duty most of the day and did very well pulling also.

Sorry I have to include a B John Deere on this board, but this one put on the best shows all day! The wheelie bars need to be set down a little more.

This is me standing by the LA Case 4-71 GM after the pull. The owner is on the seat, he also brought a MM and a 98 Massey GM of his own.

This is the owner driving the LA Case. He has never had the front end come up before, but the track was nice and sticky this weekend! We had to add more weights up front and it still would have flipped over!

Another picture. There are about 15 to 20 suitcase weights mounted on the back also.

Greatest moment for me that day, making that 4-71 bellar and raising the front end! Someday I'm gonna own one of them GM diesels...
