I just picked up my first 340 Farmall tractor...but it seems to have a problem with the fast hitch. When you move the hitch height lever the slightest bit up or down from center the hitch will go all the way to the top or the bottom (depending which way you tweek the lever) It won't stop at any position in between. When it comes to the end of cylinder travel it makes a whining noise as though the pump is pushing oil through the safety pressure switch. Is there some valve that is not set right or do I have more complex problems. (PS -The linkages for the depth control appear to all be in place)Thanks! I love this little tractor it is a dream to drive with the narrow front and power steering.
