Can you assist me in determining the year of manufacture and other info? I have an McCormick Deering 10 horsepower orchard model (low rear mounted seat, big fenders) track tractor. This tractor is the oldest I.H. crawler I have seen (I am a tractor repairman-25 yrs) The steering clutches are mounted vertically behind the fuel tank and are connected to a peculiar worm drive final. The machine is in good condition and runs well. This is the serial number.(TT1185) About 25 years ago I removed the head and could not find a replacement gasket-(the bore is about 1/2 inch larger than most T-20 machines) so it was reassembled with the old one... worked ok!. I have photo-copy of original parts manual. Thank you for your time, Jake Jake@earthworksinc.biz
